Neighbors at the home told the RSPCA that an abandoned dog had been starving for days inthat house. The dog is owned by Zarak Khan, 48, and Andrea Zerena Myeah, 46. When the officer went home, he was completely amazed by what he saw. The dog was trapped in his own small back yard of the house. He was a Rottweiler and was in his final stage of life. He was very thin and only skin was left.

The back yard was very dirty and the place had not been cleaned for weeks. There was no food or water or shelter. Eventually rescue officers took the dog to a vet for treatment. Khan also said that his benefits had been cut for six months and he couldn’t to feed the dog or himself more than once a day. But Khan’s wife, who lives in another house, said she helped feed the dog when Khan’s benefits stopped, but couldn’t to get the nutrition he needed.

There was a big gap in the back of his neck and they repaired it too. Fortunately, his condition gradually improved. Eventually they named this Rottweiler-German Shepherd mix, Courage. Eventually they started looking for a loving home for Courage. They found a special family for him. Because he definitely needed special attention. And he needed a comfortable bed, nutritious foods, some treats and some extra attention
